5-68-010 License required—Application.
No person shall operate or conduct a self-service laundry without first having obtained a license therefor; provided, that establishments licensed as dry cleaning establishments need not obtain a laundry license in addition to the dry cleaning license. Applications for such license shall be made in writing to the clerk and shall state thereon the location intended to be occupied. (Prior code § 5-25-1)
5-68-020 Fee.

5-68-030 Sanitation.
Premises used for self-service laundries must be kept in a clean and sanitary condition. No refuse of any kind shall be permitted to accumulate on such premises; and the premises must be kept free from rats, mice and vermin. It is unlawful to employ any person afflicted with a venereal or any contagious disease in a self-service laundry. (Prior code § 5-25-3)
5-68-040 Inspections.
It shall be the duty of the chief of police or some other official designated by the council to inspect or cause to be inspected every establishment licensed under this chapter at least once every six months. Any violations under the terms of this chapter which are discovered shall be reported to the council. (Prior code § 5-25-4)
