TAX INCREMENT ALLOCATION REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION

2.104.010 Created.
There is hereby created for the village of Riverdale the tax increment allocation redevelopment commission. The commission shall be composed of seven persons, who shall be appointed by the president, with the advice and consent of the board of trustees.
2.104.020 Terms.
A. The members of the commission shall be appointed for initial staggered terms as follows:
Two members for one year;
Two members for two years;
One member for three years;
One member for four years;
One member for five years.
B. Their successors shall be appointed for a term of five years.
2.104.030 Powers.
The commission shall exercise the powers as provided under 65 ILCS 5/11-74.4-4, as amended. The commission shall have the power to hold public hearings and make recommendations to the corporate authorities concerning the adoption of redevelopment plans and redevelopment projects and designation of redevelopment project areas.
