BOARD OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENTS

2.76.010 Established – Membership.

There is established the board of local improvements for the village, which shall consist of the president and all members of the board of trustees.

2.76.020 General duties.

The board of local improvements shall have the power and perform the duties assigned to it by statute or ordinance.

2.76.030 Meeting dates.

The board of local improvements shall meet on an as-needed basis upon the call of a majority of the members of the board of local improvements. All meetings of the board of local improvements shall comply with the Illinois Open Meetings Act, 5 ILCS 120/1 et seq. (Ord. 2011-20 § 1, 2011; Ord. 2010-11 § 2, 2010; Ord. 92-47 § 1, 1992)

2.76.040 Secretary.

The village clerk shall act as secretary of the board of local improvements.

2.76.050 Compensation.

The secretary of the board of local improvements shall receive compensation in the amount of three thousand dollars per year, such compensation being paid on a biweekly basis. Notwithstanding the foregoing, beginning in 2013, neither the secretary or any other elected official elected in 2013 or thereafter shall receive any compensation for his or her services to, or attendance at a meeting of, the board of local improvements.
