FIRE AND POLICE PROTECTION TAXES

3.24.010 Fire protection tax.

It is determined to be in the best interest of public health and safety that there be additional fire protection in and for the village and for the purpose of paying the cost thereof it will be necessary that the village levy annually a tax of fifteen-hundredths percent to provide revenue for the purpose of fire protection. (Ord. 86-11 § 1, 1986)

3.24.020 Police protection tax.

It is determined to be in the best interest of public health and safety that there be additional police protection in and for the village and for the purpose of paying the cost thereof it will be necessary that the village levy annually a tax of twenty-five-hundredths percent to provide revenue for the purpose of police protection. (Ord. 86-12 § 1, 1986)
