5.110.010 Truck terminal defined.

“Truck terminal” means any premises used for the outdoor storage of trucks and/or equipment and the transfer or re-transfer of any type of material from truck to truck, from rail to truck, from water to rail, and from water to truck.

5.110.020 License required.

No person, firm or corporation shall operate or maintain a terminal for the storage of trucks and equipment loading or reloading of any type of material, except new automobiles in transit, without first having obtained a license therefor as provided in this chapter. Applications for such licenses shall be made in writing to the village clerk and shall state the location of the terminal.

5.110.030 Fees.

The annual license fee for the outdoor storage of new automobiles for transfer shall be eight hundred dollars. The annual license fee for truck terminal storage of equipment or materials shall be four hundred dollars. (Ord. 2002-07 § 53, 2002; Ord. 89-5 § 50, 1989; Ord. 84-5 § 44,1984)

5.110.040 Inspections.

It shall be the duty of the fire chief to make or cause to be made such inspections as may be necessary to ensure compliance with the provisions of this chapter. Any police officer shall be permitted at any reasonable time to inspect said premises.
