FLORISTS

5.50.040 Removal of dead vegetation.
5.50.010 License required.
No person, firm or corporation shall do business as a florist in the village without having first secured a license therefor. Any person engaged in the business of selling flowers, shrubs or ornamental plants at retail in the village shall be construed to be a florist.
5.50.020 Application.
Applications for a license to do business as a florist shall be made in writing to the clerk, and must state thereon the nature of the business and the proposed location.
5.50.030 Fee.
The license fee for doing business as a florist shall be one hundred ten dollars for the first two thousand square feet or less of area occupied by the business, plus twenty-eight dollars for each additional one thousand square feet of area or part thereof; provided, that the maximum annual fee for such licenses issued pursuant to this chapter shall be not more than six hundred five dollars irrespective of the total square feet of area that the florist occupies. 5.50.040 Removal of dead vegetation.
No owner or operator of a florist shop shall permit any dead or dying vegetation to remain in or upon the premises so as to cause noxious or disagreeable odors.
