FOOD SERVICE ESTABLISHMENTS

The definitions; the inspection of food service establishments; the issuance, suspension and revocation of permits to operate food service establishments; the prohibiting of the sale of adulterated or misbranded food or drink; and the enforcement of this chapter shall be regulated in accordance with the Food Service Sanitation Code as published by the Illinois Administrative Code and with future amendments, three copies of which are on file in the office of the village clerk. 8.32.020 Permit fees.
The annual fee for permits provided for in this chapter shall be one hundred dollars per year for each food service establishment which occupies two thousand square feet of area including kitchen facilities, storage area and areas used for serving food to patrons; for food service establishments occupying in excess of two thousand square feet, an additional twenty-five dollars shall be added for each additional one thousand square feet of area or fraction thereof. In computing the area of drive-in restaurants, in addition to the kitchen facilities, storage area and areas used for serving food to patrons inside the restaurant, all additional areas of fifty square feet shall be added for each space provided for the service of patrons in their automobiles or like vehicles.
