HOUSE NUMBERING

12.24.010 Requirements.
All lots, buildings and structures in the village shall be numbered in accordance with the following plan:
A. State Street shall be the base for streets running east and west.
B. Numbers on streets running north and south shall begin with 13001 at the northerly village limits. Even numbers shall be on the west and south sides of the street.
C. It shall be the duty of the owner and occupant of every building in the village to have placed thereon, in a place visible from the street and the alley (front and rear of building), figures at least three inches high showing the numbers of the building.
D. It shall be the duty of the owner and occupants of every multifamily rental building in the village to place unit identification on the door of each unit in such building. The identification shall be in figures of at least three inches. In addition, the central doorbells for units shall also be identified with the corresponding unit number.
