CITY PROMOTION
Section
4.12.010 CITY PROMOTION.
(A) In recognition of I.C. 36-7-2-7, the City of Southport is now authorized to budget and appropriate funds from the General Fund of the City, to pay the expenses of or to reimburse City officials as the case may be for expenses incurred in promoting the best interest of the City.
(B) Such expenses may include but are not limited to:
(1) Rental of meeting places;
(2) Meals;
(3) Decorations;
(4) Memorabilia;
(5) Awards;
(6) Expenses incurred in interviewing job applicants;
(7) Expenses incurred in promoting industrial, commercial, and residential development;
(8) Expenses incurred in developing relations with other units of government;
(9) Any other expenses of a civic or governmental nature deemed by the Mayor to be in the interest of the City. (Ord. 12.08.01 §§ 1, 2, passed 10-15-2012)
