3.26.010 Creation of county litter clean up expense fund.
The Vanderburgh County Auditor shall establish a fund entitled “County Litter Clean Up Expense Fund” and shall deposit all grant monies received from the Vanderburgh County Solid Waste District into such Fund.

3.26.020 Purpose of county litter clean up expense fund.
The purpose of the County Litter Clean Up Expense Fund shall be to provide funds for the costs associated with the County Highway Garage litter clean up program within the unincorporated areas of Vanderburgh County.

3.26.030 Appropriation of funds.
The County Litter Clean Up Expense Fund shall require appropriation by the Vanderburgh County Council and such monies shall be spent in accordance with the general rules as to which other Vanderburgh County funds are subject. Additionally, if required by County Council, a salary ordinance shall be created when necessary to allow for personnel expenses to be paid from revenues in the County Litter Clean Up Expense Fund.

3.26.040 Investment and non-reversion of the county litter clean up fund.
All payments placed into the County Litter Clean Up Expense Fund shall be invested and reinvested pursuant to standard procedures followed by the County, and said funds and interest derived therefrom shall not revert to the County’s general operating fund at the end of each year, but shall instead remain within such Fund.
