TECHNICAL REVIEW COMMITTEE

There is hereby established the Whitestown technical review committee which shall consist, ex officio, of the members of the town council, together with the town’s technical representative. The technical representative shall be an employee of the firm with whom the town contracts for engineering services or such other individual as the town council determines is qualified to provide engineering input on this committee. 2.45.020 Function.
The function of the Whitestown technical review committee shall be to review all subdivision and new residential construction, and commercial or industrial construction, for its impact upon sewer, stormwater, drainage, water and municipal streets. [Res. 1996-03 § 2]
2.45.030 New construction or development.
Every person, firm or corporation proposing to build new construction or develop land within the town of Whitestown shall submit the plans therefor to the Whitestown technical review committee before the town of Whitestown will consider submitting an opinion upon the proposed development to the Boone County area plan commission. [Res. 1996-03 § 3]
2.45.040 Fees and charges.
The Whitestown technical review committee may charge the person, firm or corporation submitting plans thereto such fees as it deems necessary to defray the cost of its review of such plans and proposals, and to reimburse the town for any and all fees charged by the technical representative in connection therewith. Such charges shall be paid within 30 days after the committee completes its review and prior to the rendition of any opinion upon the proposed development by the town. No utility services will be extended to any such development until these charges have been paid. [Res. 1996-03 § 4]
