ARTICLE 8. POLICY AGAINST DISCRIMINATION

1-801. ORDINANCE AGAINST DISCRIMINATION; INCORPORATED.

There is hereby incorporated by reference the City of Tonganoxie, Kansas, Ordinance Against Discrimination within the corporation limits of the City of Tonganoxie, Kansas, said Ordinance being known as "The City of Tonganoxie, Kansas, Ordinance Against Discrimination," based upon the Kansas Act Against Discrimination and the Kansas Age in Employment Act, as amended, prepared and published in book form by the Commission on Civil Rights, State of Kansas, save and except articles, sections, parts and portions as are omitted, deleted, modified or changed, such incorporation being authorized by K.S.A. 12-3009 through 12- 3012, including any amendments thereto, and K.S.A. 12-3301 and 12-3302. Not less than three copies of the City of Tonganoxie, Kansas, Ordinance Against Discrimination shall be marked or stamped "Official Copy as Incorporated by reference by Ordinance No. 875 of the City of Tonganoxie, Kansas" and filed with the city clerk to be open to inspection and available to the public at all reasonable hours.

All administrative departments of the city charged with enforcement of ordinances shall be supplied, at the cost of the city, such number of official copies of said "City of Tonganoxie, Kansas, Ordinance Against Discrimination" similarly marked, as may be deemed expedient.
