ARTICLE 3. PUBLIC SEWER SYSTEM

15-301. USE OF PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SEWERS AND DRAINS, PRIVATE SEWAGE DISPOSAL, THE INSTALLATION AND CONNECTION OF BUILDING SEWERS, AND THE DISCHARGE OF WATERS AND WASTES INTO THE PUBLIC SEWER SYSTEMS(S) REGULATIONS INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE.

There is hereby incorporated by reference within the corporate limits of the City of Tonganoxie that certain regulations known as the Use of Public and Private Sewers and Drain Regulations as adopted by Ordinance No. 674; save and excepted articles, sections, parts or portions as are hereinafter omitted, deleted, modified, or changed, such incorporation being authorized by K.S.A. 12-3009 through 12-301 2, including any amendments thereto and K.S.A. 12-3301 and 12-3302. Not less than three copies of the use of public and private sewers and drains regulations for the City of Tonganoxie shall be marked or stamped “Official Copy as Incorporated by Reference by Ordinance No. 1101* of the City of Tonganoxie” with all sections or portions thereof intended to be omitted or changed clearly marked to show any such omission or changes, and filed with the city clerk to be open in inspections and available to the public at all reasonable hours. *    Code reviser’s note: The Use of Public and Private Sewers and Drain Regulations incorporated by reference by Ordinance 1101 have been amended by Ordinance 1476. Ordinance 1478, Section 1, amends Ordinance 1476 to provide a temporary adjustment (through June 30, 2021) for meters larger than one inch.
