All contracts of original sale of subdivision lots shall be recorded within 15 days of the sale in the office of the Dona Ana County clerk. All deeds resulting from the sale of subdivision lots shall be recorded within 15 days of the sale. [Ord. 89-01; prior code § 11-5-13]
17.60.020 Plat alterations prohibited.
No plat approved by the planning and zoning commission shall be altered in any way by the subdivider without the full, clear knowledge and written authorization of the commission. Lot splitting, or the alteration of parcel boundaries within previously approved subdivision where the “lot splitting” increases the number of parcels or changes the type or class of subdivision, shall not be permitted without the approval of the planning and zoning commission and the board of trustees and conforms with the town of Mesilla subdivision regulation.
