9.56.010    Loitering.

9.56.010 Loitering.

A person commits the offense of loitering if he:

A. Loiters in or near a school building or grounds not having any reason or relationship involving custody of or responsibility for a student or, upon inquiry by a police officer or school official, not having a specific, legitimate reason for being there; or

B. Loiters or prowls in a public place without apparent reason and under circumstances which warrant justifiable alarm for the safety of persons or property in the vicinity and, upon inquiry by a police officer, refuses to identify himself and give a reasonably creditable account of his presence and purposes.
