16.48.010 Penalties and enforcement.

Failure to comply with any provision of this title shall, upon conviction, be punished in accordance with the general penalty section of this code. In addition to such penalties, it is declared that any failure to comply with any provision of this chapter by any person seeking to subdivide or partition land constitutes a public nuisance and that the city shall have the right to abate the same upon suit for injunction, mandatory or otherwise, as the circumstances may require, in the circuit court of the state for Jackson County.
