10.20.030 Impounding of bicycles.
10.20.010 Operating rules.
In addition to observing all other applicable provisions of this title and state law pertaining to bicycles, no person shall leave a bicycle, except in a bicycle rack. If no rack is provided, the person shall leave the bicycle so as not to obstruct any roadway, sidewalk, driveway or building entrance. [Ord. 114 § 41, 1987].
10.20.020 Bike rentals.
No person shall rent or offer a bicycle for rent unless the bicycle is equipped in accordance with the Oregon Motor Vehicle Code. [Ord. 114 § 42, 1987].
10.20.030 Impounding of bicycles.
A bicycle, or part thereof, left on public property and not secured in a public bike rack for a period in excess of 24 hours will be considered abandoned and may be impounded by the police department. A bicycle, or part thereof, left in a public bike rack for a period in excess of 72 hours will be considered abandoned and may be impounded by the police department.
