OFFENSES AGAINST THE PERSON

9.12.040 Reckless endangerment.
9.12.050 Selling or pledging property of intoxicated persons.
9.12.060 Sexual abuse in the third degree.
9.12.070 Telephonic harassment.
9.12.010 Assault.
No person shall:
A. Intentionally, knowingly or recklessly cause physical injury to another;
B. With criminal negligence cause physical injury to another by means of a deadly weapon. (Ord. 2410 §2, 1981)
9.12.020 Harassment.
No person shall, with intent to harass, annoy or alarm another person, subject another to offensive physical contact. (Ord. 2522 §1, 1984; Ord. 2410 §9, 1981)
9.12.030 Menacing.
No person shall, by word or conduct, intentionally attempt to place another person in fear of imminent serious physical injury. (Ord. 2410 §3, 1981)
9.12.040 Reckless endangerment.
No person shall recklessly engage in conduct which creates a substantial risk of serious physical injury to another person. (Ord. 2410 §4, 1981)
9.12.050 Selling or pledging property of intoxicated persons.
No person shall purchase property from a person who is in an intoxicated condition or under the influence of a narcotic drug, or advance or loan money to such person, or deal with such person respecting the title to property. (Ord. 2410 §121, 1981)
9.12.060 Sexual abuse in the third degree.
A. A person commits the crime of sexual abuse in the third degree if the person subjects another person to sexual contact and:
1. The victim does not consent to the sexual contact; or
2. The victim is incapable of consent by reason of being under eighteen years of age.
B. Sexual abuse in the third degree is a Class A misdemeanor. (Ord. 2807 §2(part), 1998)
9.12.070 Telephonic harassment.
A. A telephone caller commits the crime of telephonic harassment if the caller intentionally harasses or annoys another person:
1. By causing the telephone of the other person to ring, such caller having no communicative purpose; or
2. By causing such other person’s telephone to ring and causing such other person to answer it knowing that the caller has been forbidden from so doing by a person exercising lawful authority over the receiving telephone.
B. Telephonic harassment is a Class B misdemeanor. (Ord. 2807 §2(part), 1998)
