LOCAL CONTRACT REVIEW BOARD

2.04.010 Established.
(1) The county court of Crook County, the governing body of Crook County, a subdivision of the state of Oregon, is hereby designated as the local contract review board for Crook County, a subdivision of the state of Oregon.
(2) Because the state of Oregon public contract review board no longer can review the contracts of Crook County, an emergency exists requiring that this chapter immediately become effective.
(3) There is hereby adopted by the county court of Crook County, for the purpose of establishing rules governing public contracts in the district, the rules found in OAR Chapter 127 regarding the public contract review board. These rules shall remain in effect until such time as they may be amended by the county court of Crook County, a subdivision of the state of Oregon. (Ord. 24, 1983)
2.04.020 Adoption of OAR 125-300-360.
The lawfully designated local contract review board, the Crook County court, hereby adopts Oregon Administrative Rules, Chapter 125, Division 300-360, as the rules for the Crook County contract review board, attached to the ordinance codified in this section as “Exhibit 1.” (Ord. 69, 1992; Ord. 24 Amd. 1, 1984)
2.04.030 Amendment of OAR 125-360-020.
OAR 125-360-020 is amended to read as follows:
Contracts Under $100,000.
125-360-020. A public contracting agency may, in its discretion, waive the bid security requirements of ORS 297.027 and performance bond requirements of ORS 297.029 if the amount of the contract for the public improvement is less than $100,000.

2.04.040 Adoption of OAR 125-300-000 to 125-360-030.
The Department of Administrative Services Regulations OAR 125-300-000 to 125-360-030, which are attached to the ordinance codified in this section, are adopted as the rules for the Crook County contract review board, and to govern contracts offered and entered into by Crook County.
