OCCUPANCY

13.24.010 Occupancy.
No person shall occupy any new dwelling, newly relocated mobile home, or travel trailer until facilities of sewage disposal have been installed in accordance with this division.
(1) In the event that a sewage system is installed and covered without issuance of a permit, the director shall issue his order in writing directing that use of the facility be immediately terminated in addition to those penalties listed in CCC 13.08.010(2)(b).
(2) In the event that a sewage system is malfunctioning with no possibility for repair within the framework of this division, the director may issue his order in writing directing that use of sewage disposal be terminated.
(3) In the event that a sewage malfunction is not corrected within 30 days of a written order to do so by the director, he may issue his order in writing directing that use of the facility be terminated.
(4) Notice of orders to terminate use of a sewage facility issued by the director pursuant to subsections (1), (2), and (3) of this section shall be given as set forth in CCC 13.28.010. Such “orders to terminate use” must set forth the specific violation of the code or ordinance which is the basis for the order.
(5) No person shall utilize a sewage disposal system for which use has been ordered terminated by the director pursuant to subsections (1), (2), and (3) of this section until the sewage system of the building complies with the requirements of this division in all respects. (Ord. 3 § 15.010, 1973)
