10.05.010 Golf carts permitted on Espey Road.
A. The operation of golf carts is hereby authorized on the entire length of Espey Road from its beginning at the Williams Highway up to and including its circular terminus known as Dawn Allan Drive.
B. As used in subsection (A) of this section, “golf carts” shall mean a motor vehicle having not less than three wheels in contact with the ground, having an unladen weight of less than 1,300 pounds, which is designed to be and is operated at not more than 15 miles per hour and designed to carry golf equipment and not more than two persons, including the driver. 10.05.020 Compliance with traffic regulations.
Golf cart operators when operating their vehicles on Espey Road shall display “slow-moving vehicle” signs and comply with all applicable traffic rules and regulations, except that said operators and golf carts need not conform to the provisions of ORS Chapters 483 and 487. [Ord. 78-2 § 2.]
10.05.030 Posting of signs.
Authorization to operate golf carts as provided herein shall not be effective until appropriate signs giving notice thereof are posted along Espey Road by the County Road Department. [Ord. 78-2 § 3.]
