BASE OF GRADES

1.05.010 Base of grades.
Sea level or mean low tide of the Pacific Ocean be and the same is hereby adopted as the base of city grades for the city of Junction City. [Ord. 79 § 1, 1913.]
1.05.020 Base mark.
There be and is hereby established a bench mark referred to the aforementioned datum plane (or sea level) on the top of and at the center of the iron bed plate on the north side of the column at the entrance to the I.O.O.F. Building on 6th Avenue; said building being at the southeast corner of 6th Avenue and Greenwood Street; said bench mark having an elevation of 324.50 feet, which elevation is the highest above sea level hereinbefore referred to.
