2.15.010 Appointment of municipal judges pro tem.
(1) The council of the city of Pilot Rock shall appoint and keep in office one or more municipal judges pro tem, each of whom shall hold office subject to the discretion of the council and shall hold office at the pleasure of the council.
(2) During the absence, the incapacity, or disqualification of the municipal judge to act, one or more municipal judges pro tem shall be appointed by the council and shall exercise the powers and duties of municipal judge. These powers and duties shall be those set forth in Section 34 of the Charter of the city of Pilot Rock.
(3) At any time when there is no municipal judge pro tem in office or all of the municipal judges pro tem are absent, incapacitated or disqualified, the mayor shall appoint a judge pro tem to exercise the powers and duties of the municipal judge for specific days or specific cases, or both.
