12.20.010 Definitions.
“Public parks” as used herein shall mean and include all properties owned and controlled by the city of Pilot Rock, Oregon, and operated as parks available for use of the public. [Ord. 416 § 1, 1992].
12.20.020 Rules and regulations.
Within the public parks, the following rules and regulations are established and shall be observed and enforced:
(1) No person shall cut, damage, or remove any flower, shrub or tree without obtaining prior permission from the Pilot Rock city council.
(2) No person shall deface, injure, or damage any building, installation, piece of equipment, personal property or improvement, regardless if publicly or privately owned.
(3) No person shall build any fire except in a stove or fireplace provided for that purpose.
(4) No person shall at any time ride or drive any horse upon any portion of the public parks.
(5) No motor vehicle or bicycle shall be operated, stopped, parked or left standing in any place except in parking areas provided for that purpose.
(6) No parking or loitering shall be permitted at night from dusk to dawn and all persons shall be excluded from public parks, except as may be permitted by order of the Pilot Rock city council.
(7) No person or entity shall solicit or engage in the sale of merchandise or services or operate any concessions without the prior permission of the Pilot Rock city council.
(8) No person shall dump or dispose of any garbage or waste in any place (including stoves and fireplaces), except in receptacles provided for that purpose.
(9) No disorderly conduct or excessive noise shall be permitted.
(10) No skateboards are allowed in the public parks.
(11) Dogs must be kept on a leash in public parks.
(12) All dog waste must be cleaned up. [Amended during 2011 codification; Ord. 416 § 2, 1992].
12.20.030 Applicability of city ordinances.
All ordinances of the city of Pilot Rock shall be applicable and be in full force and effect within the public parks. [Ord. 416 § 3, 1992].
12.20.040 Violation – Penalty.
Any violation of this chapter shall be punishable by a fine of not less than $50.00 nor more than $250.00. [Amended during 2011 codification; Ord. 416 § 4, 1992].
