5.25.010 Payment of license fee required.

It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, copartnership or corporation within the city of Sisters to conduct, carry on or maintain public dances without first paying in advance a license fee therefor in the manner as hereinafter set forth. [Ord. 42 § 1, 1953. Code 2002 § 5.16.010].

5.25.020 Application for license – Fee.

Any person desiring to obtain a license to conduct, carry on or maintain a public dance shall make written application for a license so to do and file the same with the city recorder, who shall thereupon act upon such application and approve the same and issue a license or in his sound discretion deny the application and refund the deposit. The application shall be accompanied by a deposit of $15.00 which is hereby declared to be the license fee for each public dance. [Ord. 42 § 2, 1953. Code 2002 § 5.16.020].

5.25.030 Violation – Penalty.

Any person violating any provision of this chapter, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not exceeding $100.00. [Ord. 42 § 3, 1953. Code 2002 § 5.16.030].
