DISPOSITION OF REAL PROPERTY

2.75.010 Generally.
Pursuant to the Utah Municipal Code, Francis City defines a significant parcel of real property as any real property owned by the City. Prior to disposing of real property owned by the City, the City Council shall hold a public hearing on the proposed transaction. Notice of the public hearing shall be published in accordance with the Utah Open and Public Meetings Act, as amended (see Section 52-4-101 et seq., Utah Code Annotated 1953). The City Council shall take whatever steps are necessary to ensure, to the best of its ability, that the City obtains fair market value for any real property disposed of by the City.
