DISCHARGE OF FIREARMS

8.15.010 General provisions.
The discharge of firearms within the city limits of Francis City is prohibited for the safety and protection of the property owners.
1. The discharge of any firearm or dangerous weapon is prohibited except as provided below.
2. Exceptions. The discharge of any weapon or gun is prohibited except:
a. In self-defense.
b. In the case of any peace officer in the discharge of his or her duties.
3. No Restriction. The discharge of air-propelled pellet or BB guns on private property is not restricted.
4. Penalty. Any violation of this chapter shall be a class B misdemeanor. (Ord. 2017-04 § 1, 2017.)
