CONCESSIONS IN CITY PARKS

5.15.010 License required.
There is hereby created a concession license. No person, firm, corporation, or organization shall sell or offer for sale any food, beverage, or novelty in any city-owned park or city-owned recreation facility without first having obtained a concession license in the manner described in this chapter. [Ord. 285. Code 1988 § 4-3-1].
5.15.020 Procedure for approval.
Any person, firm, corporation, or organization desiring to obtain a concession license shall make application therefor to the office of the Helper City recorder. The application shall be considered in accordance with the procedure for a city business license as set forth under HMC 5.05.090 and 5.05.100. [Ord. 285. Code 1988 § 4-3-2].
5.15.030 Number of licenses in ballpark to be limited – Council may attach conditions.
The city council shall not issue any concession license which would permit two or more concessions to operate in the Helper City Ballpark at the same time.
The council shall also have the power to restrict the hours of operation of the concessionaire and to establish other reasonable rules and regulations for the operation of the permitted concession, as may be in the best interest of the city. [Ord. 285. Code 1988 § 4-3-3].
5.15.040 Fees.
The city may assess a fee for the issuance of a concession license. The amount of said fee shall be as set forth by resolution of the city council. [Ord. 285. Code 1988 § 4-3-4].
5.15.050 Penalty.
Violation of any provision of this chapter shall be a class C misdemeanor. [Ord. 285. Code 1988 § 4-3-5].
