ADDITIONAL DRIVING REGULATIONS

11.15.010 Proper lookout required.

No person shall drive a motor vehicle on the streets of the City in such a manner as to endanger life or property by failing to keep a safe and proper lookout for other traffic, objects, fixtures, or property thereon or adjacent thereto. [Ord. 06-08 § 1; Code 1971 § 11-3-1.]

11.15.020 Reasonable care required when driving.

It shall be unlawful for any person to drive a vehicle without the care and caution of a reasonably prudent person under the circumstances then and there existing, or in a manner so as to endanger or be likely to endanger any person or property. [Ord. 06-08 § 1; Code 1971 § 11-3-2.]

11.15.030 Engine brakes prohibited.

The use of dynamic braking devices within the City is prohibited at all times, except when necessary to avoid immediate danger. [Ord. 22-01 § 2 (Exh. A).]
