CITY COUNCIL

2.04.040 Council compensation.
2.04.010 Regular meetings.
A. The city council of the city of Battle Ground shall have two regular meetings each month: a business session on the first and third Monday of each month and a workshop/study session commencing at 6:00 p.m. on the same day as the regular business sessions each month.
B. Each workshop/study session shall commence at 6:00 p.m. and each regularly scheduled business session shall commence at 7:00 p.m.
C. If at any time any regular meeting falls on a holiday, such regular meeting shall be held on the next business day. 2.04.020 Place of meetings.

2.04.030 Membership—Number.
The council membership of the city of Battle Ground is established at seven members. (Ord. 334 § 1, 1978)
2.04.040 Council compensation.
Salaries of the council members shall be set by the salary commission, as noted in Chapter 2.86 BGMC.
In addition to the foregoing compensation, the mayor and council members shall be reimbursed their reasonable and actual expenses incurred in connection with the conduct of city business in accordance with the city’s travel and business expense policy. Eligible expenses are allowed only when a council member has been appointed or authorized to represent the city in an official capacity.
