GARAGE SALES

5.08.010 Definition.
“Garage sale” is defined as sale by any person or persons or organizations of any household goods, furniture, or other tangible items or personal property at the residence, garage, building or structure occupied by or the possession of which is under the control of the party selling or conducting the sale, which sale shall not last over three days continuously. (Ord. 249 § 1, 1975)
5.08.020 Requirements.
No garage sale shall last more than three days continuously, and in no event will any garage sale by any person, individual or organization be allowed more than three times a year. An individual yard sale event shall not exceed seventy-two hours. There shall be no license required for a garage sale. (Ord. 00-017 2000: Ord. 484 § 1, 1983: Ord. 249 § 3, 1975)
