REPAIR AND DEMOLITION FUND

3.65.010 GENERAL.
A special revolving fund designated for the purpose of repair and/or demolition of structures which are under abatement under the uniform codes as adopted in 17.04.030 and 17.16 of the Bremerton Municipal Code. Payments shall be made out of said fund upon the demand of the authority having jurisdiction to defray the cost and expenses which may be incurred by this jurisdiction in doing or causing to be done the necessary work of repair or demolition of dangerous buildings and/or conditions. 3.65.020 MAINTENANCE OF FUND.
The legislative body may at any time transfer to the repair and demolition fund, out of any money in the general fund of this jurisdiction, such sums as it may deem necessary in order to expedite the performance of the work of repair or demolition. All funds collected under the proceedings as outlined in the Uniform Codes as adopted shall be paid to the treasurer of this jurisdiction who shall credit the same to the repair and demolition fund.
