WASTEWATER OPERATING FUND

3.88.030 WASTEWATER FACILITIES CONSTRUCTION RESERVE.
3.88.010 CREATED.
There is created a fund of the city known as the "Wastewater Operating Fund" which shall be under the direction and management of the mayor and the director of utilities and into which shall be placed all moneys held by the city as a result of the operation, maintenance, construction and other activities of the city’s wastewater utility as well as all moneys presently held in the wastewater operating fund No. 451 and such other moneys as shall from time to time be directed by the city council. Upon proper authorization, warrants shall be drawn on the fund for the payment of claims resulting from the administration, operation, maintenance, construction and other activities of the wastewater utility. 3.88.020 RATIFICATION OF PRIOR ACTS.
The city council does hereby ratify and confirm all prior acts of city officers, employees, and other representatives, consistent with this chapter as they relate to the activity and operation of the wastewater operating fund No. 451. (Ord. 4091 §2, 1986)
3.88.030 WASTEWATER FACILITIES CONSTRUCTION RESERVE.
The City Treasurer is authorized and directed to establish within the wastewater operating fund a reserve account to be known as the wastewater facilities construction reserve for the purpose of financing construction of sewerage collection, transmission and treatment facilities into which shall be transferred such moneys as are presently held in the wastewater facilities construction fund No. 309, such moneys as shall be received from the sources specified in Ordinance 3857, Section 2, and such other moneys as shall from time to time be directed by the City Council.
