STREET AND SIDEWALK REGULATIONS

12.16.010 Riding or driving animals, etc. over sidewalk prohibited.
It is unlawful for any person or persons to ride or drive any animal, bicycle, automobile or other machine or vehicle over, across or upon any concrete, stone, wood, brick or gravel sidewalk within the town except at a crossing constructed for that purpose. (Ord. 113 § 1, 1940)
12.16.020 Parking or stopping animals, etc. on sidewalk prohibited.
It is unlawful for any person or persons to stop or park any animal, automobile or other machine or vehicle except bicycles upon any concrete, stone, wood, brick or gravel sidewalk within the town. (Ord. 113 § 2, 1940)
12.16.030 Consorting with violators of Sections 12.16.010 and 12.16.020 prohibited.
It is unlawful for any person or persons to serve, transact business with, or deliver any goods, wares or merchandise to, any person or persons who are riding upon or in, or who has any animal, automobile or other machine or vehicle except a bicycle parked or stopped upon any concrete, stone, wood, brick or gravel sidewalk within the town. (Ord. 113 § 3, 1940)
12.16.040 Bicycle offenses designated.
It is unlawful for any person or persons within the town to carry any passenger or passengers on any bicycle, or to ride as a passenger upon any such bicycle, or to operate during the hours of darkness, any bicycle not equipped with lights and/or reflectors as required for operation of a bicycle on the highways of the state of Washington.
