SCHOOLS AND TEACHERS

9.70.010 Disturbing school or school activities.

Any person who wilfully creates a disturbance on school premises during school hours or at school activities or school meetings is guilty of a misdemeanor. (Ord. 254 (part), 1979)

9.70.020 Defacing or injuring school property.

Any person or the parent or guardian of any child who defaces or otherwise injures any school property shall be subject to such punishment and be liable for such damages as shall be determined by the court, provided, however, that no fine shall exceed five hundred dollars. (Ord. 254 (part), 1979)

9.70.030 Abusing or insulting teachers.

Any person who insults or abuses a teacher anywhere on the school premises, while such teacher is carrying out his official duties, is guilty of a misdemeanor. (Ord. 254 (part), 1979)

9.70.040 Teacher’s abuse of pupil.

Any teacher who maltreats or abuses any pupil by administering any unreasonable punishment, or who inflicts punishment on the head of a pupil, upon conviction thereof is guilty of a misdemeanor. (Ord. 254 (part), 1979)
