HOURS OF BUSINESS

2.05.010 Legal holidays.
The following days shall be recognized as legal holidays:

Whenever any legal holiday set forth in this section falls upon a Sunday, the following Monday shall be a legal holiday. Whenever any legal holiday set forth in this section falls upon a Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be a legal holiday, except for December 24th. When December 24th falls on a Sunday, it will be observed on the following Tuesday; and when December 24th falls on a Friday, it will be observed on the preceding Thursday.
The city manager shall have the authority to administer holidays, floating holidays, and holiday overtime schedules as provided in the city personnel policies or applicable collective bargaining agreements. [Ord. 771 § 1, 2021; Ord. 594 § 1, 2013; Ord. 507 § 1, 2009]
2.05.020 Hours of business.
City offices shall be open for the transaction of business Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. except for legal holidays and such days or hours as may, from time to time, be specified by motion or resolution of the city council. [Ord. 503 § 1, 2008]
