POLICE PROTECTION

2.68.010 Contract authorized.
The mayor and clerk-treasurer are authorized, upon motion approved by the city council, to enter into agreements or contracts with other governmental bodies for law enforcement services. During the term of the contract the governmental body shall provide police protection and law enforcement within the corporate limits of the city. (Ord. 872 § 1, 1996; Ord. 456, 1972).
