DISCHARGE OF CONSUMER FIREWORKS – RESTRICTIONS

9.21.010 Sales and purchases of consumer fireworks.

It is legal to sell and purchase consumer fireworks, as that term is defined by state law pursuant to RCW 70.77.136 or as subsequently amended, within the city of Castle Rock pursuant to Chapter 70.77 RCW and Chapter 5.32 CRMC. [Ord. 2018-04 § 1, 2018].

9.21.020 Consumer fireworks – Permitted use and discharge.

A. Consumer fireworks may only be used or discharged on July 4th, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and midnight (12:00 a.m.).

B. Consumer fireworks may only be used or discharged on New Year’s Eve between the hours of 6:00 p.m. on December 31st and 1:00 a.m. on January 1st. [Ord. 2018-04 § 1, 2018].
