11.06.010 Definitions—Scope and applicability.
The definitions found in this chapter shall apply throughout this title except where otherwise defined or the context otherwise requires. (Ord. 2534 § 1, 2023; Ord. 1272 § 1, 1971: Ord. 864 § 1, 1949: Ord. 731 § 1 (part), 1937).
11.06.020 Camper.
“Camper” means a trailer, vehicle accessory, or structure designed to be towed or carried by, connected to, or mounted upon a motor vehicle that provides accommodations for human habitation or for temporary outdoor or recreational lodging but does not include motor homes. (Ord. 2534 § 2, 2023).
11.06.030 Motor home.
“Motor home” means a motor vehicle originally designed, reconstructed, or permanently altered to provide accommodations for human habitation, which includes sleeping quarters and cooking or sewage disposal that are enclosed within a solid body shell with the vehicle, but does not include a camper or like unit constructed separately and towed by or affixed to a motor vehicle. 11.06.040 Recreational vehicle.
“Recreational vehicle” means (A) a camper, (B) a motor home, or (C) any other vehicular-type unit primarily designed to be used for recreational activities, camping, travel, or seasonal use that either has its own motive power or is mounted on or towed by another vehicle. (Ord. 2534 § 4, 2023).
11.06.050 Roadway.
“Roadway” means the portion of a street, public or private, that is improved, designed, or ordinarily used for vehicular travel or parking. For streets that are curbed, the roadway includes all travel lanes and parking areas between curblines, but does not include sidewalks and street planting strips. For streets that are not curbed, the roadway includes all travel lanes and adjacent shoulders. (Ord. 2534 § 5, 2023).
