4.01.010 Creation of combined health district.

It is the intention of the board of county commissioners of Chelan County, and the board of county commissioners of Douglas County, that said counties be combined for the purpose of the Laws of 1945 of the state of Washington, as amended (codified as Chapter 40.46 RCW), said health district to be deemed created immediately upon the adoption of this resolution by the respective boards of county commissioners. 4.01.020 Name of combined health district.

The health district shall be known as the “Chelan-Douglas County health district.” (§ 2 of Res. 444-D, February 20, 1961 at Vol. B page 404).

4.01.030 Health board—Membership.

The health district shall have a health board consisting of members appointed by member counties and cities of said health district, and the board thereof shall have the powers, rights, duties and responsibilities all as provided by the laws of the state of Washington. (§ 3 of Res. 444-D, February 20, 1961 at Vol. B page 404).
