7.36.010 Use for emergency manpower.

The board of commissioners shall give the county sheriff the power and authority to call on the sheriff’s posse for assistance when he feels an emergency exists or is imminent which demands manpower that his own force is incapable of providing. 7.36.020 Provision for emergency.

On any occasion where an emergency can be forecast, at least a week in advance, the board of commissioners should identify and provide for that specific emergency in detail. (Res. 664-E (part), June 15, 1970 at Vol. D page 264).
