8.20.010 Primary roads designated.

The following Chelan County roads are hereby designated the Chelan County primary road system, which roads are designated on a map of Chelan County:

Wenatchee-Colockum Road from south city limits of Wenatchee southerly and easterly to Kittitas County line.

West Malaga Road from junction with Wenatchee-Colockum Road at Malaga southerly and westerly to Stemilt Creek Road.

Stemilt Creek Road from junction with Wenatchee-Colockum Road in Section 19, Township 22 North, Range 21 E.W.M. southerly up Stemilt Creek to a point in Section 11, Township 21 North, Range 20 E.W.M.

Stemilt Hill and Loop Roads commencing at intersection with Stemilt Creek Road in Section 1, Township 21 North, Range 20 E.W.M.; thence southerly and westerly through Sections 1, 12, 13, 23, 22, 15, 9, 10, 3, and 4, of Township 21 North, Range 20 E.W.M., Sections 6 and 7, Township 21 North, Range 21 E.W.M., Sections 36, 34, and 33, Township 22 North, Range 20 E.W.M., and Section 31, Township 22 North, Range 21 E.W.M., and ending at junction of Squillchuck Creek Road in Section 4, Township 21 North, Range 20 E.W.M.

Western Avenue from Maiden Lane south to Cherry Street.

Maiden Lane from Western Avenue to Wenatchee Avenue.

Cherry Street from Western Avenue easterly to the west city limits of Wenatchee.

Chelan Cut-off Road from PSH No. 2 to PSH No. 7 in Section 21, Township 23 North, Range 20 E.W.M.

Lower Monitor and Lower Sunnyslope Roads from junction with PSH No. 2 in Section 28, Township 23 North, Range 20 E.W.M. northwesterly to a junction with PSH No. 2 in Section 13, Township 23 North, Range 19 E.W.M.

Mission Creek Road from city limits of Cashmere southerly to Sand Creek in Section 6, Township 22 North, Range 19 E.W.M.

Yaxson Canyon Road from city limits of Cashmere southerly to end of county road in Section 21, Township 22 North, Range 19 E.W.M.

Fairview Canyon Road from PSH No. 2 at east end of Monitor Bridge westerly and southwesterly to south line of Section 14, Township 23 North, Range 19 E.W.M.

Weythman Road from junction with Fairview Canyon Road in Monitor northerly across Stoffel Bridge to junction with PSH No. 2 in Section 11, Township 23 North, Range 19 E.W.M.

Brender Canyon Road from west city limits of Cashmere westerly along Pioneer Avenue to Brisky Canyon junction in NE 1/4 of Section 11, Township 23 North, Range 18 E.W.M.

Nahahum Canyon Road from mouth of canyon to junction with PSH No. 2 east of Cashmere Bridge.

Cashmere-Dryden North Road from junction with PSH No. 2 west of Cashmere northwesterly to intersection with PSH No. 2 west of Dryden School. Also old PSH No. 2 through Dryden from junction of new PSH No. 2 east of Dryden to upper Dryden Bridge across Wenatchee River.

Blewett Cut-off from PSH No. 2 to PSH No. 15.

Peshastin-Leavenworth North Road from junction of PSH No. 15 at west end of Peshastin Bridge through town of Peshastin and thence northwesterly to junction with SSH 15C north of Leavenworth.

Icicle Loop Road from junction with PSH No. 15 west of Leavenworth southerly to Section 26, Township 24 North, Range 17 E.W.M., also from junction with PSH No. 15 east of Leavenworth Bridge southerly and easterly across Icicle River Bridge to junction with Cascade Orchards Road.

Entiat River Road from west city limits of Entiat northwesterly to forest boundary at south line of Section 11, Township 27 North, Range 19 E.W.M.

South Lake Shore and Twenty-Five Mile Creek Road from junction with PSH No. 10 at Lafferty’s Beach northwesterly to junction with Forest Service Dock Road in Section 19, Township 29 North, Range 21 E.W.M.

Navarre Coulee Road from junction with PSH No. 10 in Section 10, Township 26 North, Range 21 E.W.M. northerly to junction with South Lake Shore Road at First Creek.

Chelan Station Road from junction with SSH 10D to Great Northern Railway tracks.

Boyd Road from junction with SSH 10C west of Chelan northwesterly to Swanson Gulch Road; thence southerly via Heyens Bridge and Lepley Road to intersection with Swartout Road; thence westerly to Wapato Lake Road; thence up Joe Creek Road to intersection with Dry Lake-Joe Creek Road; thence southeasterly down Joe Creek to Alkali Lake Road to Green Avenue; thence along Green Avenue to Wapato Way. Also from Green Avenue easterly to Swartout Road.

Manson Loop Road from west end of SSH 10C in Manson westerly along Chelan Boulevard to Columbia Avenue; thence southeasterly along Columbia Avenue to Chelan Boulevard.

Titus-Ski Hill Road from Section 36, Township 25 North, Range 17 East, W.M. (Res. 2001-20, 2/26/01; Res. 231-B, December 27, 1949 at Vol. 395 page 350).

8.20.020 Additions or changes to system.

Additions or changes to the designated primary system may be made at any time by proper resolution of the board of county commissioners when it is deemed in the public interest. (Res. 231-B, December 27, 1949 at Vol. 395 page 350).
