FEES FOR RECORDING PLATS, SURVEYS AND MONUMENTS

10.24.010 Purpose.
The purpose of this chapter is to implement the Survey Recording Act (Chapter 50, Laws of 1973) and to assist in preserving evidence of land surveys by establishing fees for recording a public record as prescribed by the act. 10.24.020 Record of surveys.
The record of surveys shall be eighteen by twenty-four inches. The basic fee for the first page is twenty-five dollars. Each additional page is seven dollars and fifty cents. Other fees may apply as enacted by the Washington State Legislature. A full fee schedule is available in the county auditor’s office. (Res. 2015-74 (part), 8/10/15: Res. 2014-38 (Atts. The record of short plats shall be eighteen by twenty-four inches. The basic fee for the first page is twenty-five dollars. Each additional page is seven dollars and fifty cents. 10.24.050 Record of monument.
The record of monument shall be filed without charge on the standard form prescribed by the Department of Natural Resources, Bureau of Survey and Maps. (Res. 92-7 § 5, 1/7/92: Res. 87-67 § 5, 7/20/87).
