2.95.100 Workers’ compensation claims.

(A)    Workers’ compensation claims shall be reported and filed with the risk manager or designee in the manner and on the forms prescribed by RCW Title 51.

(B)    Workers’ compensation claims shall be processed and resolved per RCW Title 51.

(C)    The risk manager may use the services of a claims administrator for the investigation and settlement of claims whenever it is deemed to be in the best interests of the county. The administrator shall be licensed in the state of Washington and carry professional liability coverage in an amount set by the risk manager.
