5.20.010 License required—Exception.

It is unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to conduct or maintain any circus, carnival, exhibition or show within Clark County, whether conducted or maintained in connection with any other business or not, until and unless the owner or manager of such circus, carnival, exhibition or show shall have applied for and secured a license therefor as herein provided; PROVIDED, however, that whenever any such circus, carnival, exhibit or show shall locate within the city limits of any city or town within Clark County, which by ordinance regulates and supervises such affair, then the provisions of this chapter shall be inoperative.
