24.17.250 Quality assurance.
(1) CCPH will maintain an active quality assurance program in order to provide the level of oversight required by law for the protection of consumers and protection of the public from the potential health risks of improperly sited, designed, installed, or operated OSS systems.
(2) Designers will provide final inspections on all alternative systems.
(3) CCPH reserves the authority to provide final inspections of all systems. In addition, CCPH will:

(i) When staking is required but building site data is not available to allow it to be done simultaneously with a soil and site evaluation, CCPH will do an additional staking evaluation at a fee designated by the BOH when such data becomes available.
(4) CCPH will audit the work of county-certified professionals through both random site visits and review of electronic reporting data to determine compliance with industry standards. In addition, CCPH reserves the right to conduct random audits of designers’ final inspections.
(a) Inspection of pumper trucks will be carried out once a year and meet requirements outlined in Section 24.17.220.
(b) CCPH will conduct random audits of certified professionals and report findings of those audits.
