24.20.090 Enforcement.
(1) The director of the health department is authorized to enforce the restrictions and requirements of this chapter.
(2) The director is authorized to utilize the procedures of this chapter, the Clark County Code and Washington law in order to enforce violations of this chapter and any public health rule or regulation.
(3) When violations of this chapter are reported, a warning shall first be given to the owner or other person in charge. Any subsequent violation is subject to a civil penalty of up to one hundred dollars ($100), except as provided in subsection (4) of this section. Each day upon which a violation occurs or is permitted to continue constitutes a separate violation.
(4) Civil penalties for violations of this chapter at any large event venue shall be assessed against the owner or other person in charge at a rate of two hundred and fifty dollars ($250) for every one thousand (1,000) persons lawfully permitted to assemble at the venue.
