6.20.010 Herding prohibited.
It shall be unlawful for any person, being the owner, or having in his possession, charge or control as herder, or otherwise, any loose horse or horses, cattle, hogs or sheep to drive the same on any of the streets of the city of Clarkston, except along the county road, immediately east of Boulevard and Fair Streets. 6.20.020 Notices posted.
It shall be the duty of the police chief to post notices at all bridges and streets and county roads leading to the city, which said notices shall substantially state the provisions of this chapter, but failure on part of the police chief to post said notices shall not be a defense against a violation of any of the provisions of this chapter or relieve the person or persons violating the provisions thereof from the penalty herein prescribed. 6.20.030 Animals – Trespassing prohibited.
It shall be unlawful for any person, being the owner, or having in his possession, charge, or control or otherwise, to allow any loose horse or horses, cattle, hogs, or sheep to enter the lands belonging to another whether inclosed or not, without the consent of the owner of the land. 6.20.040 Penalty for violations.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be subject to a fine of not less than $10.00 nor more than $300.00 and the costs of prosecution. [Ord. 144 § 4, 1914.]
