COMMUNITY GARDEN TASK FORCE

2.17.030 Fees established by council.
2.17.010 Duties.
A community garden task force consisting of a group of community members and at least one council member, not to exceed a total of six members, appointed by the mayor and approved by the council as a whole is created for the town of Concrete, and such community garden committee shall have the duty and authority, subject to approval of the council, to manage the Angele Cupples Community Garden or any future community gardens, to keep the same in a good and usable state of repair and upkeep, and enforce necessary rules and regulations for the use and operation of the community gardens, oversee the imposition and collection of fees, charges and rentals for the use of beds in the community garden(s), and do all other things necessary and convenient for the complete operation and management of said community garden, and to handle the details of community garden operations.
Permits and/or rental agreements for use of said community garden beds may be made and paid for with the office of the clerk-treasurer, who shall track all payments made and bed rentals. [Ord. 682, 2011]
2.17.020 Term of office.
Community garden task force council members shall serve a term concurrent with their council positions. Community garden task force community members shall serve in three-year terms. [Ord. 682, 2011]
2.17.030 Fees established by council.
Rentals, leases, fees and charges for the use of any community garden shall be set by annual resolution by the town council. [Ord. 682, 2011]
