Chapter 17.36
PUBLIC USE ZONE
Sections:
17.36.010 Purpose.
Public uses, including public utilities and parks, may be located in any zone only as a conditional use, thus allowing the community a voice in their location, with controls to minimize impacts on adjoining residential areas, and the ability to place these uses where they are most needed or can best be utilized. The location of these uses often has a great effect upon the development of adjoining areas. (Ord. 669, 1990).
17.36.020 Permitted uses.
The following uses are permitted outright in this zone: all public, institutional and recreational agencies and functions. See Chapter 17.40 DMC for uses permitted outright. (Ord. 669, 1990).
17.36.030 Conditional uses.
See conditional uses, Table 17.40.010. (Ord. 669, 1990).
